Cookie notice

How this invoice app uses cookies, local storage, and similar technology.

Who is responsible

This notice is provided by [CONTROLLER LEGAL NAME]. Questions about cookies or device storage should be sent to [PRIVACY EMAIL].

Strictly necessary cookies

The app uses strictly necessary authentication cookies and session storage so account users can sign in, stay signed in, move between pages securely, and prevent cross-site request problems. These cookies are required for the private dashboard, account export, account deletion, invoice creation, and payment setup features to work.

These cookies usually last for the current session or until the authentication provider refreshes or expires the session. If you block them, the private app may not work correctly.

Offline drafts and local storage

The app uses browser storage, including local storage or IndexedDB, to keep offline invoice drafts on the user's device until they are submitted, synced, or cleared. This helps account users finish invoices when the connection is poor.

Offline drafts can include customer names, contact details, addresses, job descriptions, notes, prices, and terms. They remain on the device, so users should protect the device with a passcode and clear drafts before using a shared device.

Service worker cache

The Progressive Web App service worker caches the app shell and some visited pages so the app can open quickly and keep draft workflows usable when the signal is poor. The cache is for service performance, not advertising.

Payments and third parties

When a customer chooses to pay by card, they are redirected to Stripe Checkout. Stripe may set its own cookies or use similar technology on Stripe-hosted pages for payment security, fraud prevention, compliance, and checkout functionality. Those cookies are controlled by Stripe and are described in Stripe's own notices.

Analytics, advertising, and consent

This app does not currently set analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies. If optional analytics or marketing tools are added later, they must stay switched off until the user has been given any consent choice required by UK cookie rules.

Managing storage

You can clear cookies, local storage, and cached data in your browser settings. Account users should export any required account data before clearing storage. Clearing storage may sign you out and may remove unsynced offline drafts from that device.
